TNT DANCERS
East Texas Dance Company is thrilled to have 103 Competition Dancers for the 2026 competition year! Our TNT Dancers are a vital part of the studio, performing in local events and competing in 4+ major competitions each season. These talented dancers exemplify the hard work, dedication, and excellence that define our competitive program.
To join the TNT Dancers, students must participate in an audition process at the end of each dance year, where they showcase their technical skills and ability to perform at a competitive level. This ensures that only the most committed and skilled dancers are selected for the team.
Our competitive dancers maintain a year-round training schedule, taking classes in specific genres to develop a versatile skill set. In addition to their dance training, they are expected to:
- Maintain good grades in school
- Demonstrate respect both in and outside the studio
- Commit to good attendance for all practices and events
At East Texas Dance Company, we believe in fostering not only exceptional dancers but also responsible individuals who understand the importance of balance, discipline, and teamwork. We are proud to support the growth of our dancers both on and off the stage.
The TNT Dancers program is led by a team of dedicated and passionate directors: Caitlin KK Bailey, Drew Bates, Carli Howard, Rachel Clower Hurt, and Alexis Marjason. These five talented women pour their hearts and souls into this program, ensuring each dancer receives the guidance, training, and inspiration needed to excel both on stage and in life.
